PRACTICE PARTNERS
Alpine Club
In our project, we have set ourselves the goal of examining the mountaineering villages and their potential for mountain tourism in the Alps more closely. The Alpenverein supported us as a practical partner with its knowledge and many years of experience in mountaineering and nature conservation.
Together with the Alpine Club, we have organized and carried out various mountaineering activities in the mountaineering villages. Here we not only got to know the mountaineering villages better, but also gained valuable insights into the basics of mountain sports such as climbing, hiking, orientation in the terrain and environmental education. We also learned a lot about treating nature responsibly and protecting alpine ecosystems.
The Alpine Club also supported us in planning and conducting courses and seminars. Here we have acquired important skills such as teamwork, communication and leadership skills, which are of great importance for our future professional career.
The cooperation with the Alpenverein as a practical partner has not only enriched us professionally, but also personally. We not only gained valuable experience, but also made new friends and deepened our passion for mountain sports.
Barbara Reitler in particular supported us in the project and provided us with the information we needed.
We would like to thank the Alpine Club for the excellent cooperation and recommend it as a practical partner for anyone who would like to continue their education in the field of mountaineering and nature conservation, especially in the context of mountaineering villages.

If you love to travel in the Alps and appreciate both the mountains and the people who live there, a membership in the Alpine Club could be a good choice for you. The Alpine Club is not only committed to protecting the mountain world, but is also committed to preserving the mountain villages and supporting the local communities.
As a member of the Alpine Club, you have access to a wide range of benefits, such as discounted overnight stays in Alpine Club huts, discounts on courses and seminars, and comprehensive insurance in the event of an accident in the mountains. In addition, with your membership you can actively contribute to the further expansion of the "Mountaineering Villages" initiative and thus receive more support for the residents and the preservation of Alpine culture.
So if you want to be part of a community that appreciates the beauty and uniqueness of the Alps and is actively involved in protecting and preserving the mountains, then membership in the Alpine Club could be just the thing for you.
